The ten winners of the 2nd edition of the National Innovation Day “EMInov-Tech’2023”, organized by the Mohammed V University (UM5) of Rabat through the Technological Innovation Center of the Mohammadia School of Engineers (EMI), have just been rewarded.
The jury, made up of experts and specialists in technological innovation, awarded trophies and incentive prizes for the 10 best innovative projects in this competition, said a press release from UM5. The young inventors of the EMI, Samiya Qanoune, Nirmine Hammouch and Zakaria Er-reguig, thus won the 1st prize for their innovative project “A New Smart Microwave Imaging Scanner For Breast Cancer Detection”. The 2nd prize was awarded to inventors from the same school, Lotfi Mesrour, Badnane Yassir, MOUNA Ouarti and Khalid Reguiau for their innovative project “SecuriTask-Vest”. As for the 3rd prize, it was awarded to the inventors of ENSA, Latifa El Ahmar, Jamal Zbitou, Ahmed Errkik, Ilham Bouzida and Ahmed Lakhassasi, for the innovative project “Object Connected RFID tags for patient monitoring in the medical field “.
The other winners also received incentive prizes. In total, 100 young inventors presented 40 innovative projects during this 2nd edition of National Innovation Day.
