In Ukraine, where the Russia-Ukraine war has made life difficult for thousands of people, the United Nations Children’s Fund UNICEF has announced that it has helped more than 70,000 people through its hotline. UNICEF stated that the majority of people who contact them are calling for humanitarian assistance.

Many people seek help with their identity documents, housing, employment, and mental health issues. At the same time, UNICEF is also providing assistance including hygiene kits.

In cooperation with government movements, this United Nations unit works in areas such as displacement, children’s rights violations and humanitarian needs.
