To stabilize the defense, Vinzenz Zschock has already been brought in from Anif.

“Last season had ups and downs, it was characterized by injuries and game cancellations due to the weather,” said Loibichler, summing up the past football season. “But at least we were close to the final of the state cup,” said Loibichler.

The Mondseer ended the season in ninth place, and the Mondsee Juniors also only finished tenth in the 1st class south. It should be noted, however, that in the top division you have to make do with one of the lowest budgets in the league and at 17.4 the Mondsee Juniors have the youngest average age of all clubs in the 1st class. From this point of view, Loibichler believes that considerable achievements have already been made. “From everyone, players, coaches and officials.”

What does he expect for the coming season? You want to go as far as possible in the cup and the teams should develop further. Loibichler thinks little of placement forecasts. “Let’s see,” he says. Training started on Monday.
