Vienna (OTS) – After a break of several years, the 48er Museum at the Rautenweg landfill in Vienna 22 is opening its doors for one night. As part of the “Long Night of the Museums” on October 7th, the unique collection invites you to an exclusive visit. The museum shows historical and contemporary exhibits as well as images from over 100 years of waste management, street cleaning and winter service in Vienna. Special highlights are the many historic vehicles – from horse-drawn carriages to garbage trucks from the 70s – which not only make children’s hearts beat faster. The employees of the 48er Museum await visitors in all areas of the museum and are available to answer questions and for guided tours. A games and craft program awaits the young guests.
