With its new Odyssey digital mirror telescope and its Odyssey Pro version, Unistellar wants to put “ the universe at your fingertips “. It features new Stellar Autofocus technology which combines a motorized sensor and an algorithm for fully automated focusing. No more need to use a special screen to manually focus the telescope.

The Odyssey is now on sale at 2,499 euros. The Odyssey Pro costs 3,999 euros. The latter has an optical viewfinder co-developed with Nikon.

Unistellar’s telescopes work by analyzing the configuration of the stars they are pointed at to determine their orientation. Using an app, the user chooses from a list of astronomical objects and the telescope will move to find them. These telescopes can also take photos.

Using a pixel binning technology called Multi-Depth, the Odyssey Pro automatically optimizes photos for different situations. It brings higher resolution for the relatively bright planets in our own solar system and better low-light performance with more distant and darker objects.

There is also an Odyssey Pro Red Edition version adorned with a red finish at 4,499 euros.
