Al-Marsad Newspaper: The scientific research team at the University of Jeddah has found compounds that have proven their ability to fight 3 types of cancer.
A member of the scientific research team and a professor of the Department of Chemistry at the University of Jeddah, Maram Pasha, said, in a video intervention on Al-Ikhbariya channel, that the compounds were tested and characterized as inhibiting the growth of the most common types of cancer, which are lung, colon and breast cancer.
She explained that these compounds were characterized by high selectivity, as they destroy the cancerous cell without harming the healthy cell.
