The University of Tripoli Students Union called on the university presidency and the Ministry of Higher Education in the Government of National Unity to dismiss the Vice Dean for Scientific Affairs at the Faculty of Pharmacy and the Examinations Committee and to open an investigation into the death of a female student after she was forced to take the exam despite her health condition.
In a statement, the Student Union described what happened as a “violation of human rights” at the College of Pharmacy and “extremism in the regulations” without understanding the provisions of Regulation 501, the spirit of the law, and the absence of reason and wisdom from those who have the responsibility to estimate and not accept medical excuses.
