According to this, it should be possible to lose up to eleven kilograms in just two weeks with the diet. Although stars such as Nicole Kitman have already used this diet and reported on losing weight, those who want to lose weight should be very careful with this method and should never use it over a longer period of time. There are two reasons for this. On the one hand, the weight loss method is extremely restrictive. Many foods are taboo, which can lead to an unbalanced diet with potentially serious health consequences. In addition, with restrictive diets, the yo-yo effect is difficult to avoid as soon as you switch back to “normal” eating habits.

Nutritionist Amy Shapiro sums it up across the portal Everydayhealth To put it succinctly, “There’s nothing magic about eggs,” she explains, adding, “It’s just something to try if you want to see results fast and you’re okay with limiting yourself for a short period of time.” to feel.” However, the diet in no way promotes a healthy attitude towards food. So while the egg diet isn’t recommended, the approach isn’t entirely wrong. Eggs may actually play some role in weight loss, some studies have found.

The overweight subjects were divided into four groups. Two groups were served breakfast with two eggs, the other two without eggs but with the same number of calories. In addition, one of these groups was given a diet with an energy deficit of 1000 kcal. According to the scientists, the group that ate two eggs a day for breakfast and was on a diet had lost 61 percent more weight after eight weeks than the group that was on a diet but ate no eggs for breakfast.
