The Department of Estimates at the Meteorological Department in Lebanon stated in the morning weather bulletin that an air depression centered over Turkey will affect the eastern basin of the Mediterranean, starting from Thursday evening, which leads to volatile and sometimes rainy weather with temperatures below their average around 4 degrees and continues until Saturday afternoon, when The weather is gradually stabilizing.
She noted that the average temperature on the coast for the month of May is between 18 and 27 degrees.
Expected weather in Lebanon:
Thursday: Partly cloudy to cloudy at times with fog on the heights and a decrease in temperatures, especially in the mountainous and inland areas, which become below their seasonal rates. The winds are also active and intensifying at times, especially in the north of the country, which touches 70 km / h. The south of the country with lightning and thunder.
Friday: Cloudy to partly cloudy with fog on the heights and a slight rise in temperatures, which remain below their seasonal rates. Scattered rain falls, intensifying at times in the morning period and is accompanied by lightning, thunder and active winds, especially in the northern regions. The rain gradually recedes from noon and returns lightly at night in northern regions.
Saturday: Partly cloudy without a slight change in temperatures on the coast, while it rises slightly in the southern, inland and mountainous regions. Fog will also form on the heights, and scattered light rain is expected at times, especially in the northern regions until the evening period, when it gradually recedes and the weather stabilizes.
Sunday: Low clouds in general, with an additional and limited rise in temperatures, especially on the mountains and in the interior, which touch their seasonal rates with a decrease in the percentage of humidity.
