The body of a woman was found unresponsive around 2 p.m. Wednesday behind the Manikanetish school in Uashat.
The person’s death was confirmed at the Sept-Îles Regional Hospital Center. Uashat mak Mani-utenam Public Security transferred the file to the Sûreté du Québec.
A security perimeter has been erected at the rear of the secondary school.
SQ major crime forensic identification technicians must arrive on site in the evening to try to determine the cause of death.

Furthermore, in connection with this tragedy and the security perimeter, the Sept-Îles Athletic Club, which holds its activities in the school’s gymnasium, is canceling its Wednesday evening training.
