UNT says it is committed to achieving a “democratic transition” in the country

The Un Nuevo Tiempo (UNT) party said on Saturday that it is committed to achieving the “democratic and peaceful transition” that “day after day” is demanded by citizens who are called to vote in the presidential elections on July 28.

Through the social network X, UNT reported that leaders of the party, including its president, Governor Manuel Rosales, held a “national operational meeting” to address various issues related to the elections.

At the meeting, they also discussed the “defense of the electoral route” and the “promotion of voting among citizens to achieve the democratic and peaceful transition that the country demands day after day,” he said.

UNT said it is working to defend “every citizen’s right to vote to choose the next president” in the July elections.

It is worth mentioning that the party supports the candidate of the Democratic Unitary Platform (PUD), Edmundo González Urrutia, who last Thursday thanked Rosales for withdrawing his candidacy and putting it “at the disposal of the unit” on April 19, when the PUD reached an agreement for a single nomination.
