After a day of work away from home, she went to her hotel room. Suddenly, the woman felt a severe pain in her chest. Only one thing to do? Send a message to his colleague and friend who was in a neighboring room. Which did not intervene immediately and found the surfer’s mother unconscious on the ground. A few minutes before, she had actually collapsed face first on the ground. His colleague therefore called the emergency services who confirmed to him that an ambulance was already on the way.
For good reason, by detecting the fall – a feature that the Pixel Watch will also have – of its user who did not respond within a minute, the Apple Watch immediately contacted the competent services. The ambulance thus saved precious minutes: “Turns out my mom had a ruptured aorta and the situation was so bad it took an incredible succession of circumstances for her to recover, including the incredibly fast transport to the hospital.” Impossible to be still skeptical about the usefulness of the Apple Watch in certain cases.
