Al-Marsad Newspaper: A video clip documented a strange method of punishment by the residents of a Turkish village, for people who fail to perform the Eid prayer, by dipping them in very cold water.
A circulating clip showed a crowd of residents of the village of Munduşlar, which is located in the Mudurno region in the state of Polo in northern Turkey, carrying a person who had failed to perform the Eid prayer, and then placed him in a basin of cold water, as a punishment for his failure to perform the Eid prayer.
One of the tweeters commented on “Twitter”: “One of the customs of a village in the Turkish city of Bolu on Eid is to identify people who did not attend the Eid prayer and then dip them in a pool of very cold water.”
