She told to Insider media how she organized her wedding for a budget limited to 500 dollars (463 euros). As her future husband had just moved with her to California, they preferred to put money aside for their new life as a couple.
It was also an opportunity for her, who posts vlogs on YouTube, to show that a wedding does not need to cost several tens of thousands of euros to be successful: “I am happy that we have chosen to have a simple and intimate ceremony, and I am very proud of having shown that it is more important to invest in your couple rather than in the wedding and the outfits. »
The dress fits her perfectly
To find the rare pearl at the affordable price of 47 dollars (43 euros), she ordered it on Shein, a Chinese site known for its often double or quits clothing: in the midst of often poor quality products, some great deals are hidden, like this dress.
In the video posted on TikTok, she first shows a more classic fitting in a wedding dress store, where the prices are much higher. She wanted to do this fitting for the experience and to see what style suited her, before ordering the dress on Shein.
She didn’t need to have it adjusted to her size, and was even happy that the dress was long enough to touch the floor, because the clothes are often too short for her who is 1.80 meters tall.
A hundred euros for the groom’s suit
In the rest of the expenses, the groom’s suit cost a hundred euros, the ceremony took place outdoors in a place that did not need to be rented. “We rented 30 chairs for 76 dollars (70 euros) and a triangle arch for 230 dollars (212 euros). The petals, the cake and the long rug were gifts, and for dinner we went to a nearby restaurant and everyone paid for their meal. »
