It is an unusual theft suffered by a family from Bas-Oha. “This Thursday morning, wanting to go feed our pony Chanchan, my companion noticed that she was no longer in her enclosure, explains Pierre Dalemans. At first we thought she had run away. But we did not find any anomaly in the fence of the plot. At the same time, a neighbor told us that she had seen a suspicious carousel during the night. Everything therefore indicates that our animal, 17 years old, was stolen.
If the damage amounts to only a few hundred euros, this theft particularly breaks the heart of this family very involved in the equestrian world. “We acquired this super-nice pony a fortnight ago. She was to be the future birthday present for our daughter who will turn two next week.”
The family plans to file a complaint with the Meuse-Hesbaye police.
