For the first time in a long time, a close friend of the Schumacher family gives news of the injured, and unfortunately, it is not particularly encouraging.

Roger Benoit told Swiss newspaper Blick that Schumacher was a “hopeless case”.

It was in 2013 that Michael Schumacher hit his head once morest a rock and suffered severe brain damage while skiing in the French Alps.

Even though he was wearing a helmet, the injuries were very serious. He was placed in an induced coma for 250 days before being taken home.

However, updates on his condition are extremely rare, as those close to him wish to protect his privacy.

In his interview with Blick, Roger Benoit, who was asked regarding Schumacher’s state of health, made a chilling statement: “This sentence says it all regarding Michael’s condition for over of 3500 days. A hopeless case.”

Corinna, Schumacher’s wife, has opened up regarding her husband’s accident for the first time in a documentary for Netflix.

“Michael is here,” she said. “He’s different, but he’s there, and that gives us the strength we need.”

Now 54, Michael Schumacher has not been seen in public for ten years.
