Application time:
- The time window for booking appointments has been modified. Starting now, applicants will be able to schedule their appointment between 12 noon and 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time.
Destination address:
- All members of a group requesting an appointment together must share a common destination address in the United States.
CBP One Appointment Changes Starting This Week
Single registration:
- Only one registration per group is allowed to be submitted. It is recommended that you coordinate the deletion of unrelated records to avoid duplicate errors.
Physical location:
- In order to make an appointment in the application, it is necessary to be physically in an area of central or northern Mexico (including Mexico City and Guadalajara).
Appointment confirmation:
- After receiving the appointment notification, the person has 23 hours to accept and schedule it.
Fraudulent accounts:
- Authorities warn that registrations and accounts that are identified as fraudulent will be removed from the system.
Third party use:
- It is recommended not to use third parties to obtain an appointment.
Appointments through the CBP One app, implemented by the Biden administration in 2023 to manage the migratory flow at the southern border, have benefited more than 400,000 people to date.
