Urgent action from Kuwait towards an Iranian who boasted of “killing Sunnis” • Al-Marsad Newspaper

Al-Marsad newspaper: Today, Tuesday, the Kuwaiti Ministry of Interior announced the arrest of a resident who had incited, through a video circulating on social media, the killing of “Ahl al-Sunnah”.

A video clip of a young man bragging regarding killing members of the Sunni sect, and representing them, aroused the discontent of Kuwaiti activists who demanded the Ministry of Interior in their country to act, following some reported that this young man is “Iranian and resides in Kuwait.”

The Ministry of the Interior stated in a statement published on its Twitter account that “the security authorities, following monitoring the controversial video circulating on social media, arrested the accused.”

She confirmed that “the necessary legal measures are being taken once morest the accused,” while she did not reveal the identity of the resident concerned.
