The police are issuing a wanted notice following the disturbing disappearance of an 80-year-old man. On Sunday August 20, 2023, Karel Mertens was seen for the last time in his home located Kasteellaan in Dilbeek. He hasn’t appeared since.
Police say the man is 1.70m tall, of normal build, has graying hair, baldness, a goatee and wears glasses.
She also insists that he may appear confused or disoriented.
