Michael Wendler is being investigated again, the singer is confronted with several ads. Instead of paying off his debts, he buys new land.

And suddenly Wendler is gone with his Laura. The 50-year-old and his wife Laura, 22, have disappeared from their rental villa in Florida, writes the “Bild” newspaper.

The reason for this is investigations by the US authorities, because there are currently several reports against Michael Wendler – including with the tax authorities and the immigration authorities. According to the report, which is available to “Bild”, it should be a violation of the couple’s visa regulations.

It will be checked whether Wendler had given truthful information in his application for a green card. The authority is also investigating the suspicion that the couple could have earned money without having the necessary visa. There is also an investigation into tax evasion.

But that’s not all.

Michael Wendler is said to have not paid for the divorce settlement for his ex-wife Claudia Norberg from his private assets, but from the assets of the record company.

Wendler’s landlady: “It was a nightmare”

Just a year ago, Laura Müller and Michael Wendler moved into the villa in Punta Gorda, Florida. As the “image” further reports, the landlords are said to have had major problems with the couple. The lease should not be extended because they had gotten wind of his problems in Germany.

The magazine also quotes the landlady: “One day the pool boy called us and said he was gone. We were shocked too. But we’re glad he’s gone. It was a nightmare.”

She doesn’t know where the singer went either. She even has mail lying around for the couple.

Bought property, no debt paid off

As Wendler’s former manager, Markus Krampe, told “Bild”, the 50-year-old currently has 1.2 million tax debts with the German tax office. He also suspects “that he wanted to quickly change his whereabouts for fear of the US authorities”.

Wendler also sold his house in Cape Coral last year – for a whopping $890,000. Instead of partially paying off his debts, he bought a new property.

He commented on this with the words: “The real estate market is burning here and of course you should use it.” No planning application has yet been submitted for the property.
