US Embassy in the DR does not recommend visa advisors

The United States embassy in the Dominican Republic recommended not using immigration consultants to avoid irregularities in visa forms, since none of them have a “direct connection with the Consular Section” from the embassy.

The embassy through its website commented that all the consular information required to fill out these forms is publicly available, and they recommend filling out the forms yourself.

“Beware of those who make promises that are too good to be true,” they add.

They suggest avoiding these people as they may be “victims of fraud, misrepresentation or misrepresentation on your DS-160 form, exposure, misuse and/or exploitation of your personal data, or paying excessive amounts of money.”

They confirmed that there are people who lost their visasas well as families, due to a bad practice of the advisers of migration.
