US oil production rises in March to 11.655 million barrels

The US Energy Information Administration announced that US crude oil exports rose to 3.319 million barrels in March, compared to 3.309 million barrels in February.

It added that US oil production rose 349,000 barrels in March to 11.655 million barrels.

Meanwhile, it jumped Oil prices once more today, TuesdayAfter European Union leaders reached an agreement late on Monday to ban 90% of Russian crude by the end of the year.

Brent crude futures rose more than $2 to $124.07 a barrel, following earlier rising to $124.10 a barrel, its highest since March 9. And US crude futures increased by more than $3 to $118.52 a barrel, rising for the fourth consecutive session.

The European agreement ends the stalemate, following Hungary initially suspended talks, as Hungary is a major user of Russian oil.
