The US photographer Elliott Erwitt has died at the age of 95. “He died peacefully at home surrounded by his family,” said Erwitt’s agency Magnum on the online service X, formerly Twitter. The New York Times newspaper reported that Erwitt died on Wednesday in New York. Erwitt’s images “have inspired generations of photographers despite industry changes and trends,” explained Magnum Photos President Cristina de Middel.
