New York: US state bans birth control pills. The state of Wyoming, Texas, has issued an order banning birth control pills. The order prohibits doctors from prescribing and selling contraceptive pills. Violation of the law is punishable by up to six months in prison and a fine of US$9,000. Wyoming is governed by the Republican Party. Human rights activists came forward once morest the decision. Some states in America have already banned abortion.
