The US State Department said that they expect Israel to comply with international law and must take additional steps to protect civilians, and there is no truth to the allegations that Israel is committing genocide in Gaza.
The US State Department continued Thursday evening: “There is no moral equivalence between the Hamas group and the government of Israel, and we will not anticipate the ruling that will be issued by the International Court of Justice regarding Gaza on Friday.”
The US State Department explained: “Qatar is an essential regional partner that cannot be replaced, whether in the current conflict or our priorities in the region. We reaffirm that the two-state solution is the only path to achieving peace in the region. The State of Qatar also continues efforts to release prisoners and is an important partner for us in Region”.
