The main stock indices on Wall Street closed in the green at the end of Thursday’s trading.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average ended the trading session up by 183.56 points, or 0.5%, to reach 33781.48 points.
The broader Standard & Poor’s 500 index increased by 29.59 points, or 0.8%, to 3963.51 points.
The Nasdaq Composite Index for technology stocks added 123.45 points, or 1.1%, to reach 11082.0 points.
