Bob Saget’s death was caused by a head injury
The American comedian, known for his role in “The House Party”, had been found dead in his hotel room in Florida at the beginning of January.
American comedian Bob Saget, who was found dead in a Florida hotel room in early January, has died of a head injury, his family said in a statement on Wednesday.
The actor, known for his role in the famous 1980s-1990s sitcom “The House Party”, had been found inanimate in a room in Orlando while on tour in the country, and the circumstances of his death were previously unknown.
“Authorities have determined that Bob died of a head injury,” his family said. He allegedly “accidentally hit the back of his head on something, didn’t ask himself a question and went to bed,” she said, adding that the death was not related to drug or alcohol use.

Bob Saget, who was 65 years old, had achieved fame playing Danny Tanner, widowed father of three daughters, including the twins played by sisters Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, in “The House Party”.
After his death, they had paid tribute to “the most loving, compassionate and generous man”.
The comedian, often nicknamed the “daddy of America”, was also the narrator’s voiceover in the series “How I met your mother” and appeared many times, playing his own role, in “Entourage”, from 2005 to 2010.
