This is the conclusion of an extensive study conducted by researchers from the Mozilla Foundation, which once again demonstrates the weaknesses of YouTube’s algorithm. According to them, using the “I’m not interested in this content” button only prevents 11% of recommendations for similar videos. This figure rises to just 12% for the “I don’t like” dislike button.
