Artis You will go has a big chance of going to Senayan following obtaining the current provisional vote of 44,425 votes. He became the top 5 with the most votes in the DKI Jakarta II electoral district.

If he officially becomes a people’s representative, the first thing the presenter with his eccentric style will do is fix the system which he considers to be a mess.

“I want to fix the system that is falling apart,” said Uya Kuya when met in the Kebayoran Baru area, South Jakarta, Monday (26/2/2024).

Furthermore, Uya Kuya said he wanted to focus on implementing the Employment Law, especially for TKI abroad.

“In Indonesia, the law is good, but in its implementation there are many people and the Labor Law is good, but its implementation is messy, especially for immigrant workers abroad,” said Uya Kuya.

“How can we ensure that the law is implemented properly,” he added.

On the same occasion, Uya Kuya and Astrid also said that if they were elected as people’s representatives, both of them would be diligent in going to the field to listen directly to the people’s aspirations.

“When I go down to the electoral district, people in the community like to meet like this, ‘Oh, we rarely see the DPR coming down to the community when it’s done’,” said Uya Kuya.

“We still go out to the community, we will accommodate their aspirations. I will go down to the community every 6 months,” said Astrid.

Uya Kuya also wants to break the stigma of society which views artists who represent the people with disdain.

“My dream is to become a DPR that is a role model for people who bully us who say ‘what can an artist do as a member’. Even though we are artists, we will be the real representatives of the people,” stressed Uya Kuya.
