Van Damme cancels his visit to Egypt and refuses to cooperate with Egyptian representatives, including Mohamed Henedy

Jean-Claude Van Damme’s business manager revealed that the latter’s visit to Egypt was canceled for undisclosed reasons.
Walid al-Tilbani said in an exclusive interview with An-Nahar, “The Democratic Republic of the Congo has appointed Van Dam as its ambassador, and since then he has been coordinating with the Congolese president and a number of leaders of countries to spread peace in the world because of the Russian-Ukrainian war, which prompted him to request a visit by Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi. And also in order to support Egyptian tourism, and to shoot part of his new movie in Egypt.”
He added, “The visit is still going on, and a new date will be set for it soon.”
As for Van Dam’s cooperation with Egyptian actors in new works, El-Telbani said: “Mohamed Henedy asked to participate in a film with Van Dam, and I welcomed that, but he suddenly disappeared, despite the controversy that the duo raised through social media during the international artist’s birthday celebration.”
He continued, “Van Dam is ready to participate in an Egyptian work, and he said that he is happy to participate in Egyptian cinema or film scenes from his films in Egypt, which he loves a lot.”
He continued, “But on the other hand, it must be financially appreciated. What Henedy did was preceded by Ahmed El-Sakka and Ahmed Ezz, and his cooperation with them has become rejected. The last movie produced by “Netflix” was for 3 months among the most watched in the world, and achieved millions of views.”
He added, “If Ahmed El-Sakka asks again to cooperate with Van Dam, I will tell him, I’m sorry, I’m sorry, he didn’t stick to his appointment with the international star when he was filming the series “The Offspring of Strangers” last Ramadan.”
