The heart of basketball beats all over the country and from all ages, and the president of EEC Vangelis Liolios gave his “present” to an important event with a backdrop of the future, the Final-4 of EKASDYM Youth.
The visit to the region started from Kozani, where, accompanied by the president of the Union of Western Macedonia, Lazaros Savvidis, he had contact and discussion with groups from the prefectures of Kozani and Florina.
The next stop was Argos Orestiko, where he closely watched the matches of the completely successful Final 4 for teenagers with the participation of the teams of Iraklis Kozani, Argos Orestiko, Aristoteli Florina and AS Kastoria, he talked to the young athletes and gave awards and prizes.
In the discussion with the Mayor of Argos Orestikos, Panagiotis Kepaptsoglou, with the participation of the Deputy Mayor of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Alexandras Vrangala, they expressed their desire for close cooperation with the EEC and the undertaking of other events by the city.
This was followed by a conversation with representatives of the unions of the prefectures of Kastoria and Grevena, about their daily life, problems and requests, as well as with referees and judges of the prefecture.
