An electrical insulation problem on an installation at Union-Prilly paralyzes the green line between Lausanne-Flon and Romanel. Buses replace trains this Thursday morning.

Many Vaudois commuters had an unpleasant surprise this Thursday morning. The Lausanne-Échallens-Bercher (LEB) is out of order and huge queues have formed at some stops. “The LEB line remains closed to all traffic this Thursday morning, between Lausanne-Flon and Romanel. Substitute buses are in place. This situation is due to an electrical insulation problem detected during the night on an installation in Union-Prilly”, indicate the Public Transport of the Lausanne region (TL). For safety reasons, the power supply had to be cut off. “This damage requires specialized intervention by a third party. The duration of the substitution is not yet known, but we are doing everything we can to recover as quickly as possible,” explain the TLs.
