This afternoon is still going on affectation to the circulation of the Mexico-Toluca Highwaytowards Mexico City, since at kilometer 48, there are members of the Mexican Alliance of Carrier Organizations (AMOTAC).
This mobilization joins that of the Mexico-Pachuca highway, the Mexico-Querétaro highway and others that are registered in different areas of the country, with which carriers request road safety, an end to abuses of authority and police extortion , as well as eliminating taxes for the transport sector.
The protesters, who are in approximately 20 tractor-trailers, affect two of the three lanes of the highway towards Mexico City, which complicates progress in the border area of San Mateo Atenco and Ocoyoacac, in the State of Mexico.
Authorities recommend motorists to use the Highway as an alternative.
There is no presence of National Guard personnel in the area, they only accompany the contingent and make the cuts corresponding to the movement of elements of the Secretary of Security of the State of Mexico.
