The authors of the cartoon “Scooby-Doo: Trick or Treat” officially revealed Velma’s sexual orientation. The picture shows that the heroine is attracted to other girls.
Fans have long theorized that Velma is a lesbian. Screenwriter James Gunn and producer Tony Cervone, who worked on other cartoons in the series, talked regarding the sexual orientation of the heroine. However, then Warner Bros. did not allow openly showing Velma’s belonging to the LGBT + community.
Scooby-Doo: Trick or Treat was released on October 4th. In the cartoon, the team goes to the town of Coolsville to unravel the mystery of terrible ghosts attacking the locals.
