Venezuela rejects that the US has shot down a Chinese balloon

They considered that the use of force was not necessary.

Through a statement, the Venezuelan government denied that the United States had shot down a balloon of Chinese origin that was in its territory.

Yván Gil, Foreign Minister of the Republic, published the letter on his social networks, in which they point out what happened as “an attack once morest an unmanned civilian aircraft of Chinese origin.”

They noted that the object had shown a technical failure and that it did not “pose any military or physical threat to people on the ground.”

“Once once more, the United States resorts to the use of force, instead of treating this situation with the seriousness and responsibility that the case deserves,” they pointed out.

To close, they mentioned that the country “ratifies its strict adherence to dialogue for the peaceful resolution of conflicts and healthy coexistence between nations and peoples.”

Earlier, China described the United States’ reaction to the balloon of Chinese origin as exaggerated.
