The other two suspects are Natalia Amésquita, manager of Canserbero and partner of Carlos Molnar, who was found dead in his apartment with multiple stab wounds. The other person accused is Guillermo Amésquita, Natalia’s brother. Both are accused of obstruction of justice and false testimony, according to the prosecutor. The two are under house arrest.
“They (Natalia and Guillermo) were hidden until we had to find them with the police forces. (…) The psychiatrists who interviewed them determined that they lied; that they hid information and acted as cover-ups,” added prosecutor Tarek William Saab.

The prosecutor also took the opportunity to question the work carried out by the Public Ministry in 2015 after Tirone’s death, due to deficiencies in the process.
“We have carried out the exhumation, the interview of new witnesses; Two new ones have appeared and their proper statements have been taken; Alleged suspects have appeared who were not previously taken into account and had not even been named, “We saw total deficiencies in the investigation”said the prosecutor.
He was even more emphatic and assured that it was an investigation “very pirate, very mediocre; “that did not meet the expectations of an event of this magnitude for what the protocol indicates.”

Although he did not seek to discredit the thesis of a homicide with subsequent suicide, he did say that it lacks strength in the criminal investigation.
“It did not meet the expectations of the criminal investigation. He had extreme deficiencies from start to finish and wanted to close it in days, when there was still a long way to go to investigate,” he stated.
More doubts than certainties in the investigation
Other doubts raised by the prosecutor are regarding who caused Canserbero’s injuries, who took out the windows and who moved the body when he fell to the groundsince it was supposedly a suicide.
“The windows in the place were not stained with blood. It is assumed that, if you have stabbed someone in the jugular and they also have 17 stab wounds in their body, that must necessarily affect you,” added prosecutor Saab.
According to a witness who gave a statement, he arrived at the scene at 6:00 a.m. on the day of the singer’s death and saw that Tirone González’s feet had no traces of blood.
Finally, the prosecutor emphasized that they are committed to the development of the investigation and provide a clear answer as to what happened to the artist. However, before closing, he raised a question that keeps the Public Ministry concerned, and that is who is collecting royalties from Canserbero.
