Vera Carrizal, author of the attack on María Elena Ríos, is suspended from house arrest

a judge suspended the house arrest dictated to Juan Antonio Vera Carrizalidentified as autor intelectual of attack with acid against saxophonist Maria Elena Rios.

Geovany Vásquez Sagrero, legal advisor to the Government of Oaxaca, reported that “at night we received another notification where a local judge said ‘we suspend'” the departure of Vera Carrizal from the San Francisco Tanive prisont, in Tlacolula de Matamoros.

The suspension was decreed by the Judge Martha Santiago Sánchezof the Superior Court of Justice of Oaxaca (TSJO), in response to an appeal trial of the determination of Judge Teódulo Pacheco Pacheco.

In her resolution, the state judge considered that the conditions did not exist for the release of Juan Antonio Vera Carrizal nor to comply with the surveillance and custody of the former deputy at the private home.

In interview con Joaquin Lopez-Dorigathe saxophonist María Elena Ríos confessed to being afraid for the release of the mastermind of his attack.

He accused the judge Teódulo Pacheco was bribed to order house arrest on the grounds that John Anthony Vera suffers parkinson y neurosis.

The saxophonist described the former deputy’s lies as “ridiculous”, since three experts ruled that the 59-year-old man is in perfect health.
