The Director of Municipal Civil Protection of Nogales, Luis Alfredo Bautista Oropeza, points out that from the aforementioned localities there are an average of 100 families who left their home on Sunday night, taking what was essential to spend the night in the shelter that was set up near the place, at the DIF Encinar facilities, located on Chiapas Street.

The above was carried out as a precautionary measure against the forest fire that started on the afternoon of Sunday, March 24 and that even though the brigades of the National Commission of Protected Natural Areas (Conanp), to mention, wanted to put out the flames, this became more complicated. during the night, since the gusts of wind predicted in the early hours of Monday, March 25, began to be noticed at 11:00 on Sunday night.
The witness ruled out that at the time the fire had reached the homes, but the Nogales City Council took this action as a precautionary measure because tonight and early morning the gusts of wind will continue to be intense and this favors the spread of the fire.
Collection centers in the region
That is why in the collection centers enabled at the Nogales Metropolitan Fire Station, located by the Sivesa company on the way to the municipality of Huiloapan, as well as in the Civil Protection offices, to mention others such as the facilities of the Higher Technological Institute of Zongolica (ITSZ), the offices of the National Chamber of Commerce (Canaco) Orizaba which are on Sur 15 and Oriente 6 next to a well-known pizzeria, as well as other establishments such as Super Tortas Orizabeñas.
