Daughter of an Alcatel executive, the new thinking head of Numeum thus approached digital technology during her higher studies. “ I hadn’t touched a computer in my life before my prep school. I discovered computer science, and I loved algorithms “, she remembers. As a student, she first became an engineer. Subsequently a developer, Véronique Torner experimented with employment for 2 years in a small digital services company (ESN), before switching to entrepreneurship to “ chart my path ».

Co-founder of the e-commerce site Black Orange with the successful entrepreneur Francis Lelong (Sarenza.com) and the billionaire Pierre Edouard Stérin (Smartbox), “ I was the CTO of the band. I learned how to grow a business alongside them », she founded AlterWay in 2006, specializing in open source. “ I have always given great importance to my family.
