Your new Vevo magazine gives you an appointment on this small Marquesan island where the 13th edition of MATAVAA, organized at the beginning of July 2022. This festival, which highlights the Marquesan arts, is an unmissable cultural event which brought together for the occasion nearly 2,000 people from the archipelago, but also visitors from other archipelagos from Polynesia and all over the world.
Four days of festivities during which the island radiated to the rhythm of “Marquisian languages, ancestral heritage”festival theme.
This festival of the Land of Men is a real parenthesis, a privileged moment during which the inhabitants of the Marquesas Islands celebrate together and with those who wish their culture, rich and strong.
