The Egyptian Al-Ahly players exploded with joy after qualifying for the African Champions League semi-finals, for the third time in a row.
Al-Ahly reached the semi-finals after a positive 1-1 draw with Moroccan Raja in the return match, on Friday evening.
And the African champions benefited from their victory in the first leg at Al Salam Stadium, 2-1.
Al-Ahly hit an expected date with Algeria’s ES Setif in the semi-finals, after the latter overcame the Tunisian Esperance obstacle by winning 1-0 on aggregate.
The two teams are scheduled to meet back in Cairo, and back in Algeria next May.
