Video shows dramatic moment when barbers save a girl from being run over
Security cameras captured the moment where two men immediately acted to prevent the minor from being run over.

Two men from East Harford, Connecticut, United States acted in time to save the life of a three-year-old girl who was about to be run over.
Osvaldo Lugo and Rafael Santana were at their Look Sharp Barbershop when they saw a little girl running toward an intersection just as a truck passed by. “My reaction was not only to look, it was to start down and reach out to the girl. Thank God that we had the time to reach it,” said Osvaldo Lugo in an interview with the media. Telemundo.
Both comment that they only thought about taking action since in Santana’s words: “Ten more steps and the truck would have hit her.”
In the videos from a surveillance camera it is seen that the minor was playing in the street when she began to run in another direction.
“When I grabbed her, the only thing I saw was innocence and the only thing she said was ‘mom, mom, mom,'” says Lugo, who quickly after rescuing the girl looked for her mother.
“The mother squeezed her chest, as if she were saying: ‘Wow, my God, thank God’, she picks up the girl, the bus arrives, she gets on and says goodbye to me through the window,” Lugo concluded.
