Max Verstappen (Red Bull Racing) retired from the 2022 F1 Round 3 Australian Grand Prix final race due to machine trouble. I finished the race with no points of grief.
Max Verstappen, who started from the 2nd grid, is left in Charles Leclerc at the pole start. Even though he was narrowed by a safety car, he was quickly driven out of the DRS range, more than seven seconds behind him just before he retired from the fast-testing Leclerc.
Max Verstappen reported that he “smells a liquid” just before stopping the machine, and it is suspected that there is a problem with the hydro system. The flame was rising from the back of the machine that stopped beside the course.
With this, Max Verstappen retired after the opening round. In the drivers’ ranking, he was overtaken by Lewis Hamilton and fell to 6th place. The difference with the winner Charles Leclerc was 46 points.
