Williams F1 has released an on-board video of Nicholas Latifi driving on the Silverstone Circuit on the 2022 F1 machine “FW44”.
Williams F1, who finished 8th in the ranking last season, hopes that new regulations will be introduced and that the 2022 season, when all F1 teams start from a blank slate, will be an opportunity to move up the rankings.
At the recital on February 15th (Tuesday), Williams F1 used a show car specializing in coloring, but in the latter half of the day, a shakedown using the actual FW44 car was held at Sharburston.

Another difference is the size of the tires. In 2022, Pirelli’s F1 tires will be expanded from 13 inches to 18 inches. Many F1 drivers, along with the newly added wheel flow deflector, have expressed concern that large wheels will cause visibility problems on certain circuits.
