ViewSonic announces business-oriented LED projectors with screens up to 300 inches at 1080p

ViewSonic announced this Monday (06) the launch of four projectors with LED technology for the LS series, which includes models aimed at the educational and corporate segments. The new devices aim to meet different public demands with diverse specifications for all budgets and applications.

All models promise lower energy consumption thanks to their source with light emitting diodes (LED), which also guarantee an extended useful life of up to 30,000 hours. Device brightness is up to 3000 ANSI Lumens for the LS510WH and LS560WH, but up to 4000 ANSI Lumens for the LS610WH and LS610HDH.

The most advanced of the projectors is the ViewSonic LS610HDH. The native resolution of 1080p (1920 x 1080 pixels) delivers great sharpness combined with its excellent level of brightness and optical zoom of up to 1.2x. This is the only model with support for HDMI 2.0. Its connectivity also includes RS232 and RJ45 ports for LAN control.

The LS610WH is a more affordable option that delivers the same advantageous brightness, but with native WXGA resolution (1280 x 800 pixels). Picture connectivity is switched to HDMI 1.4, losing support beyond 8-channel audio. Like the most advanced model, this device is capable of projecting screens from 30 to 300 inches.

For short throw projections, the LS560WH has a fixed optical lens with a 0.49 ratio, allowing you to create displays ranging from 60 to 300 inches. The LS510WH-2, on the other hand, offers a 1.1x optical zoom lens.

All models are equipped with a trapezoidal adjustment that allows them to be installed on different surfaces with the guarantee of a distortion-free image. The releases are compatible with Crestron, AMX, Extron, PJ Link and ATEN, in addition to vController, the brand’s proprietary solution for controlling the device on a LAN network.

For now, the manufacturer has not confirmed prices and availability date for corporate projectors. For the domestic audience, ViewSonic launched the X11-4K with screens up to 4K resolution and 10-bit colors, ensuring excellent quality images for home cinema with a suggested price of US$ 1,602 (about R$ 8,279).
