Kochi: Producer and actor Vijay Babu has recorded the testimony of 30 people in the case of harassing a newcomer actress. The statement of the actor who delivered the credit card of the accused while he was absconding in Dubai and the statement of the leading singer who met the accused and the complainant together at the luxury hotel in Kochi on the day of the incident will be recorded in the next few days.
The High Court has stayed the arrest till Tuesday. Prior to that, the accused will be questioned by the police for 2 more days. The probe team has received testimonies that the accused had molested the newcomer actress by making false promises. However, Vijaybabu reiterated that he had a consensual relationship with the actress.
