A man is wanted by police following violently punching an unknown woman in a series of punches at a business in Brampton, Ontario.
The events, which occurred on the evening of October 23, in a shopping center, were only publicized on Thursday by the Peel regional police.
According to police, the suspect accused his victim, a 23-year-old woman, of filming him.
In a video captured by a surveillance camera, the woman can be seen entering a clothing store, holding a phone. The man follows her shortly following and approaches his victim in a threatening manner.
The altercation lasts only a few seconds. We can see the man throwing the woman’s cell phone to the ground, who tries to respond by slapping him. The suspect continued by punching the woman more than ten times, before leaving the store and walking away.
Despite the intensity of the attack, the victim escaped with injuries described as minor.
Police are inviting anyone who recognizes the attacker to contact investigators so they can face justice.
