The accident occurred during the night from Friday to Saturday, around 1 a.m. A young driver was leaving the Chaussée de Bruxelles and had just entered rue Puissant, in Jumet, when he deviated from his trajectory.
This is how he violently hit a parked car, to the point of throwing it several meters further. The Jumet firefighters were called to the scene, and arrived with marking and extrication equipment. The young man, alone in his Skoda, was able to leave the passenger compartment under his own power.

The local police in Charleroi carried out the findings: several teams were on site, reinforced by the GSA. A crowd had in fact formed near this accident, but without any particular violence. The SD wrecker was required to remove the damaged vehicle.
