The Saturday that happened, a new event confirmed that citizen insecurity is latent in Bogotá. On this occasion, two criminals were run over by a subject who had been assaulted a few moments ago.

In the Los Rosales neighborhood of the town of Chapinero, two criminals aboard a linear motorcycle assaulted the driver of a BMW, taking, among other things, a Cartier watch guaranteed at 40 million pesos, but they did not imagine that their victim would would become his pursuer.

The driver, identified as Ángelo Schiavenato, followed them and when he was in front of them, he ran over them. He said that he hit them because, realizing that they were being followed, they decided to fire a weapon at him.

The scene was recorded by the internal camera of the BMW car. The precise moment that hits the criminals is appreciated, who are trapped between the luxurious car of the victim and another car that passed by the place.

Despite the strong blow, no serious injuries were recorded, but the criminals were captured by the Police at the Chapinero station.

The police who arrived at the scene confirmed that one of the criminals had a firearm.

“I was going to a meeting and they put a gun to my head, they took a Cartier watch, two cell phones and a chain from me. They told me to stay put and they started and fired (…) they fired first, I ran over them, I ran over them, because if not they were going to keep firing”Angelo Schiavenato told the press.
