Kohli owns a restaurant chain called One8 Commune
Famous singer and actor Kishore Kumar’s ‘Gauri Kunj’ is now a luxury restaurant. The idea is none other than Virat Kohli’s. Kohli says in the video introducing the new restaurant to fans, ‘It’s a very relaxed vibe here’.
‘I am a big fan of Kishore Da. His songs have influenced me a lot. I wish I could have met him in person. I have said so when someone asked me in the past. I really like his personality,’ was Kohli’s reply when asked why he chose Kishore Kumar’s bungalow.
In this video with TV host Manish Paul, the actor also sings a few lines of Kishore Kumar’s song ‘Mere Mehbooba Qayamat Hogi..’.
To Manish’s question about the food available in the restaurant, Virat replied, ‘Eat yourself’. Stating that food is a big part of his life, Kohli said that he wants customers to visit his restaurant again and again. During a conversation about the new venture, Kohli added that if he is not completely passionate about something, he doesn’t do it to the fullest. Kohli owns a restaurant chain called One8 Commune. As one of them, this new restaurant in Juhu will start operations on October 8.
